so we got into wittenberg yesterday. and it´s neat for the most part...except, we always have bad luck with festivals and holidays. Today is Ascension day, so pretty much all the shops were closed. we went to Luther´s house today and Melanchton´s house, and that was pretty cool...who knew that there could be so many pictures of Luther? it was intense. :)
we are also staying in a castle! not even joking. except there is no royal treatment. All of the girls (and there are 13 of us) are in one room, and the showers are community showers...three nozzels and no curtains. awkward. But really the place is like an addition to the church where Luther posted the theses, so that´s pretty cool.
Today we just went to the houses and then had lunch. and then napped. and then had dinner. But really, there was nothing else to do. Tomorrow we leave for Berlin! Exciting stuff is to be done there...like go to both the largest department store and independent/anabaptist church in germany.
