all´s well that ends well.

we, here we are...our final destination of berlin.So far, it´sbeen really fun and busy, this afternoon was our first time of real free time.

we got into berlin in the late morning, and after dumping our things at our hostel (this time with no commual showers/barrakbunks), we went to the bonhoeffer house...detriech bonhoeffer was involved in the conspiracy to kill hitler. it was pretty interesting for the most part. 

then we were off to meet with some students and talk to them about the Prostestant Church in Germany since the fall of the the wall and such. then we were off to go to a student led Taizeservice. That was really great. 

afterwards we talked to some of the people there and such.

today we went to sauchsenhaussen concentration 

camp, which was huge and there were a ton of things to read about. we all kind of meadered about at our own pace and such. Then we made a quick stop at the KaDeWe, which is the largest department store in Germany...but as soon as we walked in it was fairly obvious that we couldn´t realy afford anything. so we left the 7 floors of marvelous shopping and went down, got some currywurst (bratwursts sprinkled with curry), and went to H&M, our new favorite store...

anyways, 

tonight is for laundry and tomorrow is church and museum visits. it´s hard to believe that everyone will be leaving in a day or so! the group has been super fun, but at least i´ll see some over the summer and then school next year...my time is almost up, so I must be off!
