oh køpenhagan

so, copenhagan has been great. astrid has been so friendly, welcoming and silly all at once. it's been nice to relax and not really have any plans. today we pretty cool...we meandered and shopped in the downtown area, and then walked up the roundtower...it just gives a great view of the city. 

Then we met with astrid's dad, and he gave us a tour of one of the palaces of the royal family...they have 4 in copenhagan, but the queen is in their castle up north since it's more in the country area.






tomorrow we head off to paris, which i'm excited for...but i've read a couple of mixed reviews of our hostel, so hopefully it's okay...we were also spoiled in copenhagan as astrid andher mother made us some great dinners...it's back to bread and jam orcheese and ham, and bananas and apples with nutella. oh well.

and it's very late here...2:10 pm, so i must be off and get some sleep! tomorrow is shopping for delicious chocolates and this delicious drink of hydeblossom and returning of these amazing tights that i bought, but they turned out to be knee high's instead of leggings. oh well...perhaps an h&m in france will have them and they will be cheaper. hi hi denmark, bonjour france! (people say hi hi here to say goodbye...and of course, bonjour is good day in french...ooooh, i'm becoming so cultured.)
